Look for Less // Gucci VS the High Street

Gucci has dominated the fashion conversation in 2017, both amongst consumers and industry insiders alike.

Gucci triumphed last year and looks set to continue into 2018, taking the top spot in the Lyst Index “Hottest Brand” ranking for 2017. In fact, more people entered the search term “Gucci” on Lyst over the course of the year than they did the generic terms “shoes” and “dresses.”

As a result of the Gucci's phenomenon it appears that high street have gone into a frenzy with literally every retailer creating their own copycat versions of many Gucci pieces.
