Dent de Man's dedication to traditional textiles is infinite. Batik fabrics are adorned with Javanese patterns created by using a specialist wax block printing technique. This is what ultimately defines the brands DNA, an endless admiration for ancient printing methods and a commitment to adapt them into our contemporary world.

This SS14, Dent de Man embraces transition by demonstrating a collection more focused on ready-to-wear, introducing casual basics whilst incorporating key wardrobe essentials such as the ‘Paradis Vert’ bomber jacket.

"Hailing from the creative hub for fashion, art and culture that is East London, Dent de Man demonstrates a unique approach to style with a mix of classic and modern handcrafted designs. The fabrics used are of Vintage origin ranging from the 1930′s to 1970′s. Individually sourced by the designer, each given a name associated with a specific life event. An extensive and unique archive of prints soon developed being utilised to address the designer’s memories."

The season will see the brand re-work boxy silhouettes demonstrating intricate prints along with graphic block patterns.

The colour palette for the season is suggestive of earthy, bohemian hues. Introducing vibrant summer colours, floral prints of blood orange, high-octane shades of green and also darker tones such as navy, chocolate and burgundy
