DIOR Men // FW19 Runway

Kim Jones showed his Fall/Winter 2019 collection for Dior Homme at Paris Fashion Week a stone throws from the École Militaire. The pace was set as models stood on conveyor belt floor a perfect alternative to a runway. This season saw a collaboration with artist Raymond Pettibon injecting an element of colour in a rather muted collection on knitwear, jackets, and tees. Additionally, amongst the recent protests, we are seeing technical neons as the latest colour de jour.

Jones shows his extraordinary ability to blend haute luxury fabrication with bleeding-edge street styling and eternally chic wearability. This season also markers the second collaboration with Alyx’s Matthew Williams lending a techwear touch with his buckled detailing. Highlight pieces include the new patterned B23 sneakers and the continuation of the masculine saddle bag along with Ambush’s Yoon Ahn’s latest spin on jewellery creating a punch of punk in line with Mr. Jones signature DNA.
