Thom Browne // AW14 Lookbook

Thom Browne has unveiled his forthcoming AW14 collection of elaborate tailoring - re-adapting classic menswear designs in a bold and audacious stance. Opening with a trio of hunting-inspired looks, as quilted jackets, gilets and caps play host to a pair of eccentric antler-adorned hats, the collection continues into the designer’s main passion – suiting.

As ever, Browne’s signature tight, cropped suits and shorts play centre stage, with supporting casualwear like tracksuits and sweatpants - jackets are puffed up via abstract cuts and paired with slim-fitted pant, while the designer’s signature stripes also make a standout appearance. While the palette is dominated by austere, businesslike charcoal grey, Browne brings a splash of color to with favored red, white and blue and foray into bold patterns bringing the collection to a close.

The Alice in Wonderland referencing, sits well next to the more conventional pieces, straddling the line between traditional and experimental making for an overall well-rounded collection.
