Fred Perry x Drake's of London

Fred Perry have teamed up with quality craftsmen Drake's of London, binding both brands signature designs to form one capsule collection for A/W '12

Founded in 1977 by Michael Drake, Jeremy Hull and Isabel Dickson, the original Drakes collection was comprised of men's quality scarves. A range of English handmade ties and printed silk handkerchiefs quickly followed, and today Drakes is the largest independent producer of handmade ties in England.  Over the years the company has won prestigious accolades for design and export achievement, including the Queen's Award for Export and the UK Fashion Export Gold Award for Outstanding Export Achievement.

The collaboration sees Fred Perry classic pieces get an added sophisticated 'gentlemanly' touch with the application of  Drake’s traditionally English archive prints. Styles include the classic Fred Perry shirt and Bomber jacket, with all over print patterns sitting alongside more subtly detailed designs, with pattern applied to plackets, collars, linings, creating a distinctly British touch.

The collection also includes two footwear styles and one scarf which is made of only the finest quality wool and is being manufactured exclusively in England by Drake’s for Fred Perry.

Check out the full collection available in all Fred Perry Laurel Wreath shops and online.
