Beauty & Youth x Vans - Harris Tweed

When one thinks of Harris Tweed, an image of 'that teacher' suddenly pops into our heads. It’s just not conceivable to think that this stale fabric would ever be seen as fashionable nor stylish - but the famous wool has now become increasingly popular and sharp, as a must have texture for every male wardrobe.

Typically we associate this organic fabric with the traditional tailored jacket but now Japanese brand Beauty & Youth have teamed up once again with Vans presenting the classic wool blend in a whole new treatment - applied to their Authentic (the design that launched the brand way back in 1966) as well as the easy to wear Slip-On design.

Each style features a heavy wool upper finished in a combination of herringbone, houndstooth and windowpane plaid, all resting atop a contrasting white midsole and the chunky trademark gum rubber outsole . The Authentic has white painted eyelets and white laces, as well as a special Harris Tweed woven tongue tag. Both the Authentic and Slip-On, meanwhile, share a double-branded sockliner.
